Poker After Dark

On NBC, there is a one-hour poker show called Poker After Dark. The show premiered on January 1, 2007, and was cancelled on September 23, 2011 as a result of the "Black Friday" criminal prosecution, in which major sponsor Full Tilt Poker was named as one of the defendants. Shana Hiatt hosted the show for its first two seasons, which were aired in 2007. Marianela Pereyra hosted Season 3 before being replaced by Leeann Tweeden in Season 4. Oliver "Ali" Nejad's voice-over commentary has been present throughout all seasons. On March5,2012, the show returned to American television on the NBC Sports Network with previously shown repeats, followed by unaired episodes from season 7 showing for the first time on June4, 2012. The show airs on NBCSN on weeknights at midnight, though the start time fluctuates owing to sporting event overruns.
