Jackass
Jackass is an American reality show that ran from 2000 to 2002 on MTV, which featured people doing dangerous, nasty self-injury stunts and pranks on each other and on the cameras. Bam Margera, Steve-O, and Johnny Knoxville, who had previously appeared in only a handful of tiny parts, all found success on the show. Paramount Pictures, the studio sister of MTV, has released three Jackass movies since 2002, continuing the series after its initial run on television. Viva La Bam, Wildboyz, Homewrecker, Dr. Steve-O, and Blastazoid were all spin-offs of the show. In the "New TV Classics" list compiled by Entertainment Weekly, the show came in at No. 68.
