Cosmos: Possible Worlds
National Geographic will premiere a new science documentary television series on March 9, 2020. The series is a sequel to the 2014 television series Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey, which followed Carl Sagan's original Cosmos: A Personal Voyage series on PBS in 1980. The series is hosted by astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson and written, directed, and executive produced by Ann Druyan and Brannon Braga, with Seth MacFarlane and Jason Clark also serving as executive producers. The series consists of 13 episodes that were broadcast over the course of seven weeks. The series premiered on Fox on September 22, 2020. According to Braga, "Possible Worlds" refers to "far, far away planets, but also... the future as a possible world."
