Conversations with a Killer: The John Wayne Gacy Tapes
Between 1972 and 1976, John Wayne Gacy, a serial killer, aspirant politician, adored neighborhood contractor, and occasional clown-for-hire, killed 33 young men. His residence in the tranquil northwest suburbs of Chicago was discovered to have a mass grave beneath it, where the majority of his victims were located. When 60 hours of previously unseen audio recordings between Gacy's defense team and his DNA experts were discovered in2011, we gained a new picture of how the narcissistic murderer worked for so long with impunity.
