When You're Strange
The creative chemistry of four musicians --drummer John Densmore, guitarist Robby Kreiger, keyboardist Ray Manzarek and singer Jim Morrison-- made The Doors certainly one of the most iconic and most influential rock bands of America. Utilizing footage shot between their formation in 1965 and also Morrison's death in 1971, it traces the ring from UCLA's film school's corridors, where Morrison and Manzarek met, into the stages of arenas.
