Metallica & San Francisco Symphony: S&M2
On October 9, 2019, Trafalgar Releasing will release S&M2, a commemoration of Metallica's landmark S&M concerts and album recorded with the San Francisco Symphony. See them perform with the Symphony one more as great conductor Michael Tilson Thomas conducts a segment of the program, marking the beginning of his farewell season in San Francisco. The programs honor the opening of the Chase Center, a landmark addition to the city's waterfront, and were recorded live on September 6th and 8th. Including Metallica favorites from the 1999 S&M release as well as symphonic versions of new songs, this theatrical release allows millions of Metallica fans across the world the opportunity to transcend time and experience the show as a modern-day cinematic concert.
