Oleg is a talented young paramedic. Katya, his wife, works as a nurse in the emergency department of a hospital. She adores Oleg, but she's tired of him prioritizing patients before her. She informs him that she wishes to divorce him. Oleg's new EMA department head is a cold-hearted manager with new severe standards to implement. Oleg isn't concerned with the regulations because he has lives to save; yet, his attitude gets him in trouble with the new supervisor. The workplace crisis is mirrored by a personal crisis.
